New things to check out at Scheels Arena for the 2018-19 season:
New Promotional Nights
-Honor Flight Night on November 10: Come out to support the Veteran's Honor Flight of ND/MN. The team will wear specialty jerseys that will be auctioned off following the game with all proceeds benefiting the Honor Flight.
-Winter Hat Giveaway on November 21: Winter hats will be given away at the door courtesy of game sponsor Dakota Plains Realty!
-Casino Night on December 16: Come out to win a variety of prizes including a trip to Mexico! Game sponsored by Dakota Magic Casino.
Fan favorites such as Wiener Dog Races, Men's Night, Ladies Night, Hometown Heroes, Dash-4-Cash and Sanford Children's Night are all back as well! Don't forget to check out the promotions page for all the exciting promotional nights this season!
This year, fans can enjoy the following new concourse entertainment:
-New arcade games
-Connect 4 and Giant Jenga
-At select games, we will have a balloon twister/magician, face painter, and a caricature artist
-A PlayStation gaming area where you can participate in an NHL 2019 tournament
-Live bands playing in the upper lobby prior to almost every home game
New In-Game Promotions
Fans will see some of their favorite promotions, but will also get to see some new entertaining intermission contests such as hungry, hungry hippos, a AAA Saves promotion following the second period, the Spicy Pie Sign of the Game, and the Matt's Auto Jersey Upgrade.
Things continuing this season:
Fans can purchase 32 ounce Fargo Force souvenir cups filled with beer at all home games for $10 (must be 21+)! Fans can purchase the same souvenir cup filled with soda for $8 and receive unlimited refills. Cups will be available at all concession stands, beer stands and High Point Bar & Grill.
All You Can Eat & Drink
Fans can now purchase an all you can eat and drink ticket to any home game in any reserved section in the blue zone for $32.75 in advance ($3 extra on day of game). All you can eat items include: hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, popcorn, and caramel corn. All you can drink items include: 16 ounce Bud Light and Coors Light draft beers and fountain pop. The all you can eat and drink wristbands are accepted up until the start of the third period at the southwest and southeast concession stands and any stand selling domestic draft beer.
Scheels Arena will continue their “No Smoking” policy throughout the arena and the arena campus. Ralph Engelstad Arena, the Sanford Center, Target Center, Target Field, and US Bank Stadium also have no smoking policies. The policy change came a few years ago after a review of arena operations from around the country.
